Important Update: Due to the safety of our team, we are no longer able to make appointments for dogs that have aggressive tendencies. This includes dogs that are fear aggressive and/or territorial. It is best that these pets are seen at a full-service veterinary hospital where heavy sedation is an option.

Mobile Pet Euthanasia in Raleigh and Knightdale

Our pets fill our lives with happiness and provide us with memories that we will carry with us forever. They also have lifespans that are much shorter than their own, though, and we often end up being left with just their memories much sooner than we’d like. As your pet nears the end of their life, you may have to make a decision regarding whether to have them put to sleep. This is the most difficult decision many pet parents ever face, but in many cases, humane euthanasia is the kindest gift you can give a beloved companion. It frees them from their pain and suffering and allows them to pass on from this life with peace and dignity.

At Total Quality Mobile Veterinary Care, we provide mobile pet euthanasia in Raleigh and Knightdale and many of the surrounding communities. With this service, you can say goodbye to your companion in the comfort of your home and experience the benefits of in-home euthanasia

What to Expect

When you contact us for in-home euthanasia, we will come to your home and perform an exam to help you determine whether it’s the best option. If it is, we will encourage you to settle into a comfortable location with your companion. This could be your bed, their bed, the sofa, or any other indoor location of your choosing. If you’d like, you can also light candles, put on relaxing music, etc.

Your pet will be given a sedative, which eases them into a deep, peaceful sleep. While it is taking effect, you will have time to say goodbye and enjoy a few last moments with your pet. Once it has taken effect and you are ready, we will administer the euthanasia drug and let you know when your companion has passed.
