Why do we recommend Semi-annual physical examinations?

Having your pet examined by a veterinarian every 6 months is the single most important thing that you can do for you pet! During the appointment the veterinarian will thoroughly examine your pet to look for any abnormalities and signs of disease. We will discuss your pets lifestyle, diet, and disease risk factors. This allows us to catch potential problems early rather than waiting for severe issues to manifest. During the appointment we will also help come up with a plan to help screen and prevent diseases based off of your pet’s specific needs. Too much can change in a year which is why we recommend check ups every 6 months.
