Originally from Petersburg, Virginia, Dr. Tierra Kershaw Hawley has been practicing Small Animal Medicine since moving to Fayetteville, North Carolina, in 2013. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2009. She went on to attend Tuskegee University, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She earned her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine. When Dr. Hawley is not caring for pets, she spends most of her time with her loving husband, who is also a veterinarian, three adorable children. She also shares her home with two dogs: Sweet Pea and Luna, a parrot named Jack, and two cats: Kirara and Litten. Dr. Hawley’s hobbies include gardening, swimming, playing tennis, drinking fancy tea, and all things outdoors. She also loves to travel and has visited numerous countries, including Mexico, Nicaragua, Egypt, and Jamaica.
